"Last December, I experienced a flood in my home due to a broken hose. The incident was not my fault. I was having a difference of opinion to restore my home with the insurance headquarters office. I contacted Greg Ochipa, State Farm of Wilmington, NC, and my issues moved along, Greg and his team were the best advocates for me. "My stepfather is 90 years old, and has had State Farm insurance for DECADES. About a year ago, someone hit, and totaled his vehicle. That is where the nightmare started. Greg Ochipa's office did not assist him in any way, and wanted nothing to do with assisting him. He went to the local office and met with Greg personally, and Greg promised to handle something related to the claim personally. Greg failed to do anything at all, despite promising to assist. My stepdad finally dropped State Farm all together. Based on all I have heard about this, I will NEVER have State Farm as my insurance carrier, and I suggest you do the same. The only thing Greg and his staff care about is making money. Shame on you for treating this elderly veteran the way you did!"

"Greg Ochipa's office is hands down the best insurance agent I have ever worked with. His office has always been beyond helpful & I was disappointed when I could no longer stick with the agency who held my renters insurance policy at the time when I purchased my home in 2020 since they could not offer coverage in my area. A few years later, after several awful experiences with other agents who did NOT have my best interest in mind, nor would they listen to my needs, I gave it a shot to reach back out to Greg Ochipa's office and I was THRILLED that they were able to offer coverage at that time. The office as a whole, but Tammy Cameron specifically, is incredibly responsive, friendly, patient & has gone above & beyond to be helpful to myself and my family while navigating several insurance policies. I have & will continue to highly recommend them to anyone in need of services. I cannot say enough good things about my experiences with their office."

"I called his office for an insurance quote. The quote that was provided to me, was cheaper than my current Insurance Agent. I changed my insurance based on the quote. After about a week or two, I received a phone call from his office. I was told my rate would be more than quoted. Here is what I have a problem with. I was quoted $221 a month when I called originally. During this second phone call, I was told the monthly rate would go up $70. Money is not an issue, but that is not what I was quoted! The monthly rate actually went up to $389. Needless to say when this insurance term is up, I am going to cancel. Very bad business practice. Quote one price and then raised the rate once you are a customer. There are better honest insurance agents out there. I would not recommended this business. My wife has a separate policy here as well. She is also going to cancel her long time policy. You will not only be down a new customer, but in the process; you will also have lost a long time customer..."
